Admissions Requirements

CHI Montessori Academy is a member of the American Montessori Society. Our academic program for children runs from 8:00am-3:30pm with enrichment programs available in the afternoon. The school year requires tuition payment due at the beginning of each month and payable in guaranteed funds (check/debit/credit card) by the 5th of the current month. Tuition paid after the due date incurs a late penalty of $50 due and payable immediately. A two-week delinquent account justifies immediate dismissal.

Parents may prepay full tuition for the semester (Aug. to Dec. OR Jan. to May) and receive a 5% discount toward their tuition. Families that prepay the entire year’s tuition will receive a 15% discount on tuition. Any family with two or more children attending CHI Montessori may receive a 20% discount on the youngest child’s tuition. The tuition costs for the current 2018-2019 school year are as follows:

  • Lower Elementary: 1st – 3rd grade $800 Monthly

  • Upper Elementary: 4th - 6th grade $800 Monthly

  • Primary Class: 3 – 6 years (potty trained) $800.00 Monthly

  • Toddler Program: 15 mo. – 36 mo.(walking) $825.00 Monthly

  • Infant Program: 6wks – 15mo. (not walking) $850.00 Monthly

Extended day (4-6pm) enrichment programs for primary and elementary students will incur additional costs. The academic day concludes at 3:30. If your child is picked up between 3:30 and 4pm there are no additional charges, however, after 4pm, an extra fee will be added to the base tuition (per day/week) for students that remain at school after 4pm.

In addition to the tuition, an annual materials fee of $100.00 is required for each student to be paid at the time of enrollment.

Payment of tuition is expected regardless of vacation days, holidays, or sick days. If you find it necessary to withdraw your child, please provide a two- week notice as a courtesy to parents on the waiting list.

Parents are expected to supply and maintain accurate enrollment/admission information for their child. State regulations require evidence of age- appropriate immunizations or a signed affidavit against such immunizations within 30 days of the child’s enrollment. A completed medical record for your child will be part of the enrollment package required for admission. It is the parent’s responsibility to escort the child into and out of the center each day as well as sign their child in and out on the daily attendance sheet.

Camp

 

The 2018-2019 school year will begin on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 and end on Friday, May 24, 2019. CHI Montessori Academy will be closed for summer vacation. However, a theme-based summer camp program will be provided during June and July.

Camp rates are $150/week between the hours of 9:00am-3:30pm.

Before and after care is provided starting at 7:30am and until 5:30pm for an additional charge of $50/week.
